Central Electoral Commission released first results of local elections

The Commission reports on 40 elected city, town and village heads, while the total number of local head reaches 10051.

The official website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) has posted the first results of the local elections held Oct.25.

Ukraine has elected 40 heads for the councils in the villages of Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions.

The highest percentage received self-nominated candidates (77.5%), followed by the Petro Poroshenko’s Solidarity Party (20%) and the Vidrodzhennya Party (2.5%).

Reminder: Oct. 25 local elections were held in Ukraine held with voter turnout constituting 46.62%.
