The Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a working breakfast with the Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Dion who is on a working visit to Ukraine, reported the official website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting the Head of the Canadian Foreign Ministry confirmed new Canada’s Government commitment to supporting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Stephane Dion pledged Canada will continue implementing its technical assistance programs, aimed at carrying out reforms in Ukraine, in particular, improving the efficiency of law enforcement, anti-corruption activities and strengthening the defense capability of our country.
The parties discussed the situation in Donbas in the context of the Minsk Agreements, as well as Ukrainian-Canadian cooperation in the political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
