BRUSSELS (QHA) -

Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and the Minister of National Defence of Romania Mihnea Ioan Motoc discussed the partnership of Ukrainian soldiers with multinational Bulgarian-Romania brigade at the meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels, the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports.

During the meeting with Romanian colleagues the Ukrainian Defense Ministry noted that Romania provides helps in the rehabilitation and treatment of soldiers wounded during the execution of combat missions in the ATO zone.

“Joining efforts in fight against the enemy that threatens the entire region is now more important than ever,” Poltorak said, noting the experience of Ukrainian military, participating in a multinational military brigade "LITPOLUKRBRIG." 

“I am convinced that this is another step to preserve the security in our region ... We are interested in cooperation on security in the Black Sea region,” Stepan Poltorak noted.

The Minister of National Defence of Romania congratulated Stepan Poltorak with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reforms progress.

“This is precisely the message the Alliance is waiting for,” he stressed.

Defense Minister of Romania also accepted an invitation of Stepan Poltorak to visit Ukraine.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg reported that the Defense Ministers of NATO member countries are going to create a multinational military brigade in Romania at the NATO's Warsaw Summit.
