Border set between Crimea and Ukraine

The state border is set between Ukraine and Crimea, the rules of its crossing start operating from April 25.

Acting head of the Federal Migration Service of Russia in Crimea Petro Yarosh has said, RIA Novosti informs.

“Since April 25, the state border opens and in the nearest time it will be defined where checkpoints will be set, how to cross the border, as well as the need of issuing migration cards,” Yarosh said.

Currently, the Crimean border service carries out control on 27 checkpoints. No restrictions for movement of transport and supplies are introduced. At the same time, self-proclaimed Crimean authorities in the nearest time are planning to make public information on the rules of crossing the border in compliance with the Russian law.
