Bodies of Russian soldiers start arriving in Sevastopol

“Bodies of Russian soldiers killed in Syria have started arriving in Crimea,” said Mustafa Jemilev, Ukrainian President’s Adviser for Crimean Tatar Affairs, in an interview televised by the 112 Channel.

“Russia has been openly sending its troops to Syria. About a dozen bodies of Russian soldiers killed in Syria have already been brought to Sevastopol. And we are only talking about Sevastopol,” said Jemilev.

Jemilev also commented on the talks Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held with Putin during an unveiling ceremony of Moscow's new grand mosque:

“Erdogan keeps telling us he never stops raising the issue of Crimean Tatars with Putin. He has made it abundantly clear that he will under no circumstances recognize the annexation of Crimea. However, the Turkish Republic is currently facing a major problem due to the arrival of more than 2 million Syrian refugees. And this is the biggest point of contention between Turkey and Russia now.”
