Biden: US sees signs of economic progress in Ukraine

Vice President of the United States noted that GDP and industrial production growth increased.

The United States noticed an improvement of economic situation in Ukraine. This was announced by the US Vice President Joseph Biden during a joint press conference with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

“We have discussed with the President the progress which Ukraine has demonstrated in the implementation of democratically important reforms. We began to observe the signs of economic progress: GDP began to rise, industrial production is increasing, exports of agricultural products have increased and Ukrainian currency has stabilized,” said Biden.
