US Vice President Joe Biden is still on the official visit to the Republic of Turkey. He has planned a number of meetings with parliamentarians, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the NTV news agency, during his visit to the part of the Parliament building destroyed in the course of the attempted military coup on July 15, Biden gave a brief comment on the extradition of Gülen, the leader of a terrorist organization FETÖ:

-The images of the Parliament building as of July, 15 reminded me of September, 11 (September, 11 the US was struck by terrorist attacks - Ed.). Gülen had better not live in the US, but in some other country. The decision on his extradition will be taken by the Federal Court.

Yesterday’s morning, US Vice President Joe Biden arrived on an official visit to Ankara as a sign of support and solidarity with both the Turkish people, and with the current government.
