Belgian Vice Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, Foreign Affairs Minister Didier Reynders and Defense Minister Steven Vandeput will submit a proposal on sending six multi-purpose F-16 jet fighters to the Belgian parliament, Ukrinform reports.

If the Belgian parliament approves the proposal, Belgian fighter jets will be sent to Syria as early as July 1.

Raised in Brussels on March 22, the proposal on increasing military aid to the international anti-ISIS coalition will have to be endorsed by the Belgian Parliament.
