KIEV (QHA) -

Oleg Tyagnybok, Leader of the Svoboda party, won an anti-defamation lawsuit he filed against Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s Interior Ministe, right after a news conference the latter called on August 31, 2015, said Kristina Ravlyuk, Tyagnybok’s spokesperson.

“Today, we won the anti-defamation lawsuit we filed against Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s Interior Minister, with Kiev’s Pechersky District Court,” Ravlyuk said.

It was reported earlier that Arsen Avakov alleged that ‘Tyagnybok’s thugs killed and maimed our soldiers outside the Parliament’ at a news conference held on August 31, 2015.

“Back then, Avakov accused the Svoboda Party of every kind of wrongdoing. Under the verdict, Avakov is to call a news conference within a month and deny allegations he made at a news conference on August 31,” said Ravlyuk.
