Kharkiv (QHA) - A group of people's deputies arrived at Kharkiv-based hospital, where ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko undergoes treatment. Among them are Batkivshchyna faction leader Arseniy Yatseniuk, Arsen Avakov, Andriy Kozhemiakin, Roman Zabzaliuk, Serhiy Pashynsky, Oleksandra Kuzhel, Tetiana Sliuz, Mykola Kniazhytsky, Mykola Katerynchuk, Anatoliy Holovko, Borys Tarasiuk, as well as Tymoshenko's lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko, reports Ukrinform. According to Ukrinform correspondent, no less than 200 Tymoshenko's team mates gathered near the hospital. “The action is dedicated to the second anniversary of illegal conviction of the opposition leader, which is recognized by the European Court of Human Rights,” Yatseniuk has said. According to him, now the President has both political and legal possibility to correct a mistake made two years ago and Viktor Yanukovych can make the first step toward Tymoshenko's release, having provided her with possibility to undergo treatment abroad. The action near the central clinical hospital walls is held under the slogans: “Yulia will be Free!”, “Yulia, We are with You!” The action participants gather signatures under a motion to the European Court of Human Rights, initiated by the Batkivshchyna, requesting to speed up consideration of the Tymoshenko case. Supporters of the opposition leader intend to gather one million of such signatures.
