The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry suggests that after the illegal election of the Russian president in the annexed Crimea, searches and arrests will intensify. The speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa made a corresponding statement on Twitter.

“Illegal searches, arrests will only intensify the occupier after illegitimate elections in the ARC. We categorically condemn this,” she wrote.

QHA reported that, lawyer Emil Kurbedinov reported informed about several Crimean Tatars who were dismissed from jobs for failing to appear in the illegal presidential elections in Russia in the occupied Crimea.

Mariana Betsa earlier said that sanctions against the Russian Federation should be strengthened until the Crimea is fully de-occupied.
