Greek delegation, headed by the mayor of the city of Corinth Alexandros Pnevmatikosom, visited Sevastopol. The next message has been posted on the Twitter page of the Russian Embassy in Greece, "The mayor of the Greek city of Corinth Alexandros Pnevmatikosom has visited the peninsula."

According to the Center for Investigative Journalism, during the visit a memorandum on cooperation between Sevastopol and Corinth in economic, tourism and other spheres has been inked. "This is the first time we take in Greek delegation. I am glad that, despite hurdles, you have made a step towards Russia and arrived in Sevastopol to sign a document on cooperation", the city press service cites the Governor Sergei Menyailo.

Crimea has already been visited by a group of French MPs and a former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. As a result, these persons have been banned from entering Ukraine by SBU for three years.
