Protesters are taking to the streets of Kyiv again to push their demand for the government of President Viktor Yanukovych to step down over his refusal to sign an agreement on closer ties with the European Union, informs RFE/RL. As reported, thousands of protesters remained on Kyiv's Independence Square overnight. People are outraged after riot police used force to break up a protest camp in Kyiv in the early hours of November 30. As reported, the latest protests were marred by violence when police clashed with protesters who had tried to break through a police blockade with a tractor in order to reach the president's office. Reports said some 100 protesters and about the same number of police were injured in the violence.
