Almost 19,000 Ukrainians changed citizenship in 2013

In 2013, 18,700 Ukrainians changed Ukrainian citizenship for citizenship of other countries. This is more than twofold up against a relevant index of 2012, reports Ukrinform, citing TSN information with reference to the State Statistics Service. Ukrainians are going in search of the better life to the European Union countries, the U.S., Canada, Australia and Israel. At the same time, the number of persons who received Ukrainian citizenship reduced. Over the previous year, 41,600 persons received Ukrainian passports, which is 20% less against the same index of 2012.
