The Crimean Parliament voted for a referendum on accession of Crimea to the Russian Federation for March 16. 

Such decision was taken on Thursday, March 6, according to media reports.

Vice Prime Minister of Crimea said that the referendum is to take place on March 16, reports RIA news.

Previously, the self-proclaimed government of Crimea had twice changed the referendum date.  First, it was planned for May 25, later changed to March 30.
