There is no mass disappearing of Crimean Tatars in Crimea, head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said this in an interview with “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” newspaper.
“Four people are reported missing in Crimea. One of them has fought in Syria. I’ve met with his parents, met with Crimean Tatar representatives. The Investigative Committee has taken the cases under its control. These people (relatives of missing people,-ed.) are ready to give a press-conference to deny the rumors about mass disappearing of people in Crimea”- head of Crimea said.
“Crimean authorities do their best to make Crimean Tatars feel safe and comfortable in Crimea”- he added.
Several Crimean Tatars have been abducted or have disappeared in recent months in Crimea.
