The information was stated by Aksenov at the State Council meeting, also attended by Putin.
As it turns out, the wages in the tourism sector are so low that Russians do not want to be employed in this field! Therefore, Aksenov made a conclusion that these jobs were best suited for Ukrainians.
- The solution is to employ foreigners, first of all - citizens of Ukraine, as among them there are many professionals currently seeking employment, said Head of Crimea.
Aksenov even appealed to Putin to simplify the employment procedure for migrant workers by eliminating the need to pass exams in Russian, history and law, as the majority of Ukrainians were taught Russian and literature at school.
This brings up the question: if Crimean authorities report on tourist season in Crimea being a success, why are the wages so low?
