During the meeting with a delegation of French Parliamentarians in Simferopol, "the Head" of Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that there isn’t any political repression against the Crimean Tatars, but the missing representatives of the people of Crimea "are really fighting in Syria siding with ISIS, according to Kryminform.

- The investigative bodies have irrefutable information that a number of these disappearances is just a political move, but in fact their relatives (of the missing ones - Ed.) know that they are fighting in Syria having sided with  ISIS. However, it is more convenient for everyone to represent it as a political repression or criminal matters that occur on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, he said.

After the meeting, the Head of the French delegation, the Deputy of the National Assembly of France Thierry Mariani said that he "had got absolutely clear answers to his questions", and added that the talks on two topics about the missing and the violation of the Crimean Tatars’ rights, which are currently widely debated in Europe, is nothing more than propaganda.

The delegation of 11 French MPs arrived in Simferopol on July 29.
Ukraine's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the second visit of the French MPs to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Reportedly, French delegates last visited the Crimea a year ago.
