A group of 35 unarmed OSCE observers was stopped by armed men at the checkpoint to Crimea.

The observers have successfully passed a checkpoint guarded by Ukrainian troops that obey Kyiv government.  However, at the second checkpoint, guarded by armed men in an unmarked uniform, they were stopped.

Earlier it was reported that at the request of Kyiv, OSCE sent a group of 35 unarmed international observers from Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Canada, Norway and other countries to Crimea.

The observers had to go back.  Now they are returning to Kyiv.
