Media forum dedicated to Crimean issue in media was held in Kyiv
The forum was timed to coincide with the 135th anniversary of the publication of the first issue of the Crimean Tatar newspaper Terciman / Translator. Its editor was Crimean Tatar intellectual, educator, publisher and politician Ismail Gasprinsky
The media forum "Terciman: The First Crimean Tatar Press" was held on March 11 at the premises of the Kyiv Television Center
It consisted of three panels dedicated to the main types of media: Printed and online publications, radio and television
The hosts of the forum were Yekaterina Nekrecha and Andriy Kulikov
The Media Forum was broadcast live
The organizers and partners of the forum were "UA: Suspilne Movlenia", Radio Hayat, "Krym.Realii", "Radio Liberty", "Hromadske Radio"
Students were invited to the studio who were able to put questions to the speakers
Ilmi Umerov, Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, also took part in the discussions
