August 21, activists and caring Kyiv residents demanded the release of a Ukrainian political prisoner outside the Russian embassy in Kyiv
The action was organized by the Ukrainian PEN Club and the Center for Civil Liberties
"Today is 100 days of hunger strike, it's hard for us to imagine what it is like, because not everyone will survive even with an artificial hunger strike," one of the initiators of the action, the President of the Ukrainian PEN club Mykola
The participants of the action once again called on the Russian authorities to stop the persecution of Ukrainian citizens in the Crimea and Russia, and also read out their letters to Oleg Sentsov
Barbed wire is a symbol of repression carried out by the Russian Federation
"Oleg feels support, he talks about it, he thanks everyone who supports him, but asks more attention to other political prisoners for whose sake he started the hunger strike," Oleg Sentsov's cousin Natalya Kaplan
The action was joined by the Crimean House, CrimeaSOS and other public organizations
Activist Igor Gavrilov: "Now a personal battle is taking place between Putin and Sentsov, and I believe that with any result of what Oleg is doing, he will win"
