Acting Minister of Health of Ukraine Ulana Suprun called on the World Health Organization (WHO) to check the vaccination program in annexed Crimea and in the occupied territories of Donbass. Suprun reported this on her Facebook page.


She noted that together with Ukrainian delegation, she visited the 68th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe in Rome.

“Among the global challenges to which we need to prepare together with entire European region is the issue of vaccination. I called on WHO to check the vaccination program on the territories of regions occupied by Russia like Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk,” she wrote.


According to Suprun, "it is necessary to strengthen joint activities on anti-vaccination", and also to increase in providing "of such kind Primary health care".


Earlier QHA reported that the incidence of intestinal infections is increasing in occupied Crimea. The incidence rate has increased up to 22.4%.
