The fire condition of health facilities on the territory of the occupied peninsula poses a threat to the health and lives of patients, visitors and personnel, the press service of Directorate-General for the Emergency Situations Ministry in Crimea reports.
“Ensuring fire safety of these socially significant facilities is one of the priorities of the emergency department. Since the beginning of 2017, 16 scheduled and 22 unscheduled inspections of Crimean medical institutions have been carried out. As a result, it was revealed that some objects are in a fire-threatening state, which is not safe for the life and health of patients, visitors and personnel,” the report says.
Reportedly, 72 medical institutions operate on the territory of the Crimea, which are daily visited by thousands of people, and in many of them, patients stay around the clock.
