October 16, a "DPR" terrorist Arsen Pavlov, aka Motorola was killed in Donetsk, "Interfax" reported.
“According to preliminary data, an improvised explosive device detonated in the elevator of the house where Arsen Pavlov lived. The militant was at this point in the epicenter of the explosion and has been fatally wounded,” the publication’s source informed.
Advisor to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Tandit confirmed the death of Motorola on the air of "112 Ukraine".
“I can confirm the information, spoken about in the media, of the murder of Arsen Pavlov. I can confirm the information that a person who committed a crime against the integrity of Ukraine and was actually wanted by us, was killed in the apartment building,” he said.
MIA of Ukraine confirmed the fact as well.
“The terrorist Arseny "Motorola" Pavlov is destroyed. Most likely by his own accomplices on misanthropic terrorist formation. That is the sad end of all such bastards on our Ukrainian land,” the Speaker of Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko wrote on Facebook.
Militants have traditionally charged "Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance force" with murder of Motorola.
Volunteer Roman Donik believes that the Abkhazians avenged the "DPR" militia leader in this way.
“The insider information on the Motorola has surfaced. Motorola was taken down by people of Abkhaz (Akhra Avidzba), the commander of the 15 International Brigade. He was willing to finish Motorola since the summer for his wife’s conduct abusing the Abkhazians. The event was financed by Stavros Bagatelia, appointed to take control of the seized ATB shopping network by Zakharchenko.
Abkhaz appealed the Kremlin on his elimination. And they allowed only now. Following the Motorola’s trip to sweep the rebels in Luhansk,” Donika wrote on Facebook.
The head of the self-proclaimed "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko called the murder of terrorist Motorola the announced beginning of war, accusing the official Kiev.
“As far as I understand, Petro Poroshenko broke the truce and declared war on us,” Zakharchenko said.
Moreover, the "head of the republic," said that he already knows the name of the client. However, militant Andrei Alexeyev confirmed that Motorola may have been killed by his own comrades.
“Ukrainian saboteurs have neither access to the building and nor the possibility to stay there for a long time and to carry out any work without causing suspicion of protection,” wrote the "DPR" military on VKontakte page in "Summary of the Novorossiy militia."
Motorola was killed October 16, in the elevator of the house where he lived, between 20:00 and 21:00. When he went up to his apartment in the elevator, the bomb detonated.
Arsen Pavlov (Motorola) was 33 years old. He was born and lived in Ukhta, Komi. The militant participated in the second Chechen war. He arrived in Ukraine in the spring of 2014 to participate in the Russian aggression. Later he arrived at the Donbas.
Motorola is known for his cruelty, he personally carried out torture and executions of prisoners.
In June, an explosion occurred on the territory of the Regional Trauma Hospital in Donetsk. Local media alleged that the incident was an assassination attempt to kill militant Motorola.
