Simferopol (QHA) - Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev, in an interview to Segodnya newspaper told how he is helping relatives of the deceased Fevzi Edemov.
“The late Fevzi Edemov had three families that he had to take care of. First, his aged and sick parents; second, his 12-year old daughter from his first marriage; and finally his second wife with the 8-months old son. My assistance is being provided to these three families”, says Jemilev.
According to Jemilev, Edemov’s parents received lifetime allowances of 2000 UAH per month and a housekeeper with a salary of 1000 UAH a month. Gas has been connected and heating system installed at their house.
Edemov’s 12-year old daughter will receive monthly allowance of 1500 UAH till adulthood. His second wife with a small child received three-room apartment in Bakchisaray and monthly allowance of 2500 UAH.
Jemilev said that the widow of Fevzi Edemov has moved in into her new apartment and has invited him for a cup of coffee already.
As reported, in May 2013, 32-year old Hayser Jemilev killed a man, presumably as a result of a careless handling of a registered gun belonging to his father Mustafa Jemilev. The killed was a long-time friend of Jemilevs family.
