Today, the security forces arrived in the village of Perepyolkino, Dzhankoy region and swept through the houses of Crimean Tatars.
- We’ve received information on searches in the village of Perepelkino, Dzhankoy district, a lawyer Emil Kurbedinov wrote on Facebook.
As QHA reported earlier, today, February 12, the FSS detained Eldar Selyamiev, following a search made in his house in the village of Victorovka, Bakhchisaray district. February 11 a wave of searches swept the Crimean Tatars’ houses in order to discredit them as "terrorists". Often the security forces acted aggressively – broke windows and forcibly took away people.
During the interrogation, the detainees were asked whether they or their friends are terrorists, whether they engage in any extremist organization and are going to Syria.
Eight of the twelve detainees have already been released, while Emir Usein Kuku, Vadim Siruk, Enver Bekirov and Muslim Aliyev are still being held in custody. A hearing in the case of the detainees is to be held today.
