This night in the town of Bilohirsk unknown persons committed another act of vandalism against the cathedral mosque, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelal reported on his Facebook page.

Thus, drawings of Nazi symbols, swastikas and curses were painted on the walls of the fence of the cathedral mosque.

It should be noted that the mosque in Karasubazar was opened on April 24, 2015 by Resul Velilyaev, the Crimean Tatar entrepreneur, patron of arts, founder of the Charity Fund for the Promotion of Interethnic Accord namedafter Bekir Choban-zade opened in honor of his late father Refat Veliull.

Earlier it was reported that in the occupied Crimea in Simferopol, Muslims went on a hunger strike protesting against the demolition of their houses and mosques for the construction of a residential complex.

The reason for this step was the decision of the local construction company to begin construction of a residential house on the Strelkovaya massif, which implies demolishing of all other buildings in the area.
