WASHINGTON (QHA) -

The United States confirmed the information on killing the ISIL leader Abu Nabil who stayed in Libya and was targeted in an air strike, reported Reuters citing a Pentagon Speaker Jeff Davis.

According to the report, the leader of the terrorist organization was killed in air strike carried out by F-15 aircraft on a terrorist’ compound in the city of Derna.

In addition, the Pentagon also confirmed that a senior leader of the al Qaeda-affiliated group al Shabaab was killed in a U.S. military air strike in Somalia carried out on Dec. 2.
