Update: 8 Ukrainians, not 7, killed in plane crash in Russia

According to updated reports, 8 Ukrainians were killed in a plane crash in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.

Updated reports of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry suggest that 8 Ukrainians were killed in the Boeing 737-800 crash.

“According to the Consulate General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don, 8 Ukrainians, one of them a child, were killed in a crash of the Boeing 737-800, coming from Dubai,” reports the Ministry’s press service.

Initial reports suggested there were 7 Ukrainian aboard the plane.

It was reported earlier that the FlyDubai Boeing 737-800, coming from Dubai, crashed near the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don on the night of March 19 killing all 55 passengers and 7 crew members aboard. The crash might have been caused by poor weather conditions
