Unknown men have torn off Ukrainian flag from the building of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people in Simferopol, the only Ukrainian flag officially flying in Crimea after its annexation by Russia, head of charitable organization “Crimea. Fund” Riza Shevkiyev announced.
“At 3.15 a.m. building of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people was attacked: three robust men with stockings on their heads, with arms in their hands climbed on the pipe. One of them tore off the flag and vanished”- Shevkiyev said to QHA correspondent.
In the morning Mejlis stuff again put Ukrainian flag on the building.
It is not the first incident, when Ukrainian flag was removed from the Mejlis building. April 21, members of self-defense forces of Crimea came to Mejlis, broke into the building, took Ukrainian flag down and put Crimean one instead.
September 1 night, unknown man painted the building of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people in Simferopol with unquotable painting and inscriptions.
All these cases are not investigated yet.
