Ukrainian border guard was killed in Sumy region, reported the press service of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office. August 7, at 11.20 a.m. the district border guards found the body of their colleague near the border strip in the village of Novaya Sloboda, Putivlskiy distrcit.
According to the autopsy, the 39-year-old man died at 6.30 on August, 6 from closed craniocerebral injury. Last time he got in touch following his duty shift around 5 p.m. and said he was going home, reads a statement.
The criminal proceedings have been launched under Part. 1, Section 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
So far, the investigative and search actions are underway in order to establish all the circumstances and persons involved in the crime.
