COMPIEGNE (QHA) -

There have been two powerful blasts in France’s northern city of Compiegne. Two cars, one of them being an ambulance, are reported to have been blown into the air.

“The burning fragments of the cars even landed on the roofs of the nearby buildings, causing them to catch fire here and there,” eyewitnesses report.

Miraculously, no one was injured in the blasts. Police have sealed off the accident site asking the locals not to venture outside unless absolutely necessary, ren.tv reports.

There has been no word yet on what caused the blasts.
