A bus, transporting 25 inmates of the orphanage for children with health problems from the town of Snizhne, Donetsk region, was seized by the terrorists of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic," June 12.
Children were deployed on the territory of the Russian Federation, from where they would be sent to Crimea, head of the criminal police for children's affairs of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine Oleksiy Lazarenko assured.
"They (the bus with kidnapped children - Ed.) went via Luhansk region, Krasny Luch, the Dovzhansky checkpoint and are now in Russia. They will be sent to Crimea across the Kerch Strait," he said.
According to Lazarenko, all the children are alive and healthy, but the militants disembarked from the bus two out of three adults, who accompanied them.
