Early in the morning of Aug 26 a car bomb went off 50 meters from the police department in the Turkish town of Cizre (Sirnak Province). Responsibility for the attack has been laid upon the Kurdish terrorists, who have activated over the last weeks in the east of the country.
According to the preliminary data, the blast wounded 78 people; some of them have been injured very severely.
The policemen death toll has reached 11 men, reported the AA agency.
The ambulance and law enforcement officials continue working at the scene.
