The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) detained two men attempting to bring drugs into the temporarily occupied territories through Zaytsevo checkpoint.

The law enforcement officers have found more than hundred grams of amphetamine and dozens of ecstasy tablets hidden among the personal belongings of the Luhansk residents when inspecting their car. The men had also scales for weighing drugs and $ 500.

According to the operational information of the security service, the "goods" were imported into the temporarily occupied territories by order of close associates of the ‘LPR’ leaders (Luhansk People’s Republic). 

The criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 309 and Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, according to the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
