All passengers and staff of Simferopol International Airport have been evacuated due to anonymous call about a bomb threat, RIA Krym reports.

“All people were evacuated after receiving information on bomb threat. It’s quiet now, nothing was found. The information was received by phone, but not at our telephone number,” Eugene Plaksin, CEO of Simferopol International Airport, reports.

This is not the first case of a false ‘bomb threat’ for the airport. An anonymous call about a bomb threat was received in April this year, when Elena Yurchenko, former Minister for Resorts and Tourism in Crimea, was to solemnly meet the first group of tourists arriving in Crimea on May Day celebrations.
