FSS officers detained a Russian national suspected of multiple vehicle arsons in Crimea, Anastasiya Medyntseva reports on her Facebook page citing police sources.

“He got arrested right after boarding a flight in Simferopol airport. He must have been getting ready to fly back home. After identifying him as just a regular hooligan, the FSS officers handed him over to police. While he is being questioned, police are looking for his accomplices. I know that for a fact because I got that from a source within police,” Medyntseva writes.

It was reported earlier that 23 vehicles were damaged in a wave of car arsons that swept across Crimea in January-February 2016.
