In Bakhchysarai, in the occupied Crimea, this morning, September 13, Russian security forces came with searches to the house of the Crimean Tatar Osman Belyalov, the public organization Crimean Solidarity reports.

At the time of the search, Belyalov himself was not home. He, according to human rights activists, drove to Simferopol, but did not get there. Currently he is out of communication.

However, the security forces detained two other Crimean Tatars - Selim Teyfukov and Eldar Umerov, who were shooting the actions of the enforcers during search at the house of Osman Belyalov with their cellphones. The Crimean Tatars were released in some time, after they were photographed and their fingerprints taken.

Following the search, Russian security forces arrested the father of Crimean Tatar Osman Belyalov, journalist Anton Naumluuk reported on Facebook.

According to him, the search was completed. It was conducted within the framework of the investigation of the case under part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (excitement of hatred or hostility, as well as humiliation of human dignity). Naumlyuk noted that it is still unknown where Osman Belyalov is.

Osman Belyalov is an activist of Crimean Solidarity, he is engaged in solving social and everyday problems of families of political prisoners.

Osman has three children of preschool age, the youngest is 2.5 months. The family of the brother of the political prisoner Memet Belyalov, who was unreasonably arrested and kept in the detention center, is currently under care of Osman Belyalov. His elderly parents are sick, mother has diabetes and pressure problems.

Previously, Osman Belyalov was found "guilty of an administrative offense" under Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code of the RF, he was fined in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. He is allegedly involved in a "unauthorized rally" near the cafe "Salachik" in Bakhchysarai on May 12, 2016. Then the activists gathered near the cafe, learning that Russian security forces were conducting searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars. Similar administrative protocols were drawn against four more residents of Bakhchysarai.
