BILOHIRSK-QARASUVBAZAR (QHA) -

In the occupied Crimea in Bilohirsk, security forces are conducting search in the house of director of LLC "KrymOpt" Crimean Tatar Ali Bariev and in the network of shops "Guzel", the public association Crimean Solidarity reported on Facebook.

Crimean Solidarity noted that the invaders are searching not only the house of the director of the company, but also the homes of the "KrymOpt" employees.

“The founders of this enterprise are the Velilyaev family – well-known Crimean Tatar businessmen and patrons of numerous cultural and educational projects. On the means of this family the Cathedral Mosque was built in Bilohirsk. Resul Velilyaev is also the founder of a well-known fund in the Crimea, the Bekir Çoban-zade foundation, as well as the initiator and patron of the award named after outstanding poet, scholar-turkologist Bekir Çoban-zade. Earlier, in April 2015, the houses of the brothers Remzi and Resulya Velilyaev had already been searched, after which they were taken to the Investigation Committee," the public association reminded.

All the shops of the network "Guzel" and the firm "KrymOpt" were cordoned off by the security forces.

The coordinator of the Crimean Contact Group for Human Rights Abdureshit Dzepparov said that security forces drove several buses to the trade centers.

“Cars with security officials in balaclavas are near all the shops of the trade network "Guzel" and the firm "KrymOpt" in Bilohirsk. Their buses are near shopping centers. According to the information I received, the search is also taking place in the house of the director of KrymOpt Ali Bariev. I continue to follow the situation.”
