Another powerful blast occurred in Turkey’s south-eastern province of Diyarbakir. The blast targeted a convoy of military vehicles, reports CNN Turk citing police sources.

According to the report, the explosion took place at about 9.40 a.m. local time.

In its turn, Reuters reports that seven people – all of them servicemen – have been killed in the attack.

It is believed that terrorists remotely detonated land mines planted on the highway.

QHA reported earlier that a powerful blast occurred in Anakara on the evening of February 17. The blast claimed the lives of several dozen people.
