Russians capture Ukraine’s only submarine

Russian invaders have captured the only Ukrainian submarine Zaporizhzhia in the Striletska Bay near Sevastopol, media reports say, Ukrinform reports. According to the crew, the submarine was surrounded by Russian ships and thrown with stun grenades. The Ukrainian military retreated.

According the UNN online edition, the Zaporizhzhia will be part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It moved from the Striletska Bay to the South Bay, a site for the Black Sea Fleet’s submarine division. Part of the crew is ready to serve Russia, the rest, including a submarine captain, have left the vessel.
