Russian journalist detained in Simferopol (PHOTO)

According to eyewitnesses, a man was handcuffed and taken away in an unknown direction.

The security forces in the occupied city of Simferopol detained an Editor-in "Argumenty Nedeli - Crimea" Alexei Salov.

According to a detainee’s colleague Anastasia Medyntseva who was on the spot the police rushed into a cafe, handcuffed Salov and took him away.

- An Editor-in "Argumenty Nedeli - Crimea" Alexei Salov was handcuffed and taken away from the cafe "Happiness" in Simferopol, Medyntseva wrote on Facebook.

The pictures posted by the journalist show how people in civvies take away the detainee in the unknown direction.

So far there is no official information on the reasons for the journalist’s detention.
