Many civilians suffered as a result of the attack by the regime of Bashar al-Assad forces and Russian Air Forces on the opposition-controlled Damascus, according to the Syrian Civil Defence as cited by Anadolu.
“Assad regime forces were shelling the Haresta district in the north-east of Damascus, killing three people and wounding 20. The injured were taken to field hospitals,” the report says.
Moreover, it is noted that Assad regime aviation and Russian Air Forces attacked residential areas in the suburbs of Damascus - Eastern Guta Duma. The attack resulted in a number of civilians killed and injured.
The aviation used incendiary bombs against civilians. Civil Defence Force extinguished the fires.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Federation dropped parachute bombs in Syria. 11 people became the victims of air strikes, including women and children, another 25 people were injured.
