Russia starts checking its military arsenals

Russian President Vladimir Putin suddenly instructed Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to assess the state of the army arsenal and readiness of "certain units of the military administration."

Speaking at the selector meeting, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the next sudden inspection of the armed outfit has been launched today, June 14, at 7 a.m. in accordance with the decision of the Russian President to assess the combat and mobilization readiness of troops, RIA Novosti reports.

“Special attention must be paid to the organization of the operational staff work while planning the use of troops in various crisis situations,” said Shoigu.

According to the Minister, the auditors have to determine how smoothly the army operates. In addition, local authorities and military enlistment offices should organize field mobile command and control centers.

A sudden inspection of the RF Armed Forces is reported to be held until June 22.
