Russian aviation continues bombing the civilian population against the background of the ongoing joint offensive by the Turkish Armed Forces and the Air Forces of the International coalition against the ISIL terrorist organization in Syria.

According to the AA news agency, tonight RF dropped a phosphoric bomb on Syrian opposition-controlled regions and cities. The bomb killed women and children and triggered fire on the spot. So far, no other details of the attack have been reported.

The ongoing bombings by Russian aircrafts in Syria once again confirm the sad statistics reported by the Syrian Network for Human Rights Mission on the number of victims among the civilian population.

August, 25 the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a formal statement noting that Moscow is worried over the casualties during the Turkish military offensive "Shield Euphrates" in Syria - although it also continues launching attacks on civilians.
