The Syrian Human Rights Network (SNHR) published a report on the situation in Syria on the first day of the ceasefire, declared following a US-Russia meeting.

According to the report, on the first day of Eid al-Adha Russian fighters and the Assad regime forces carried out a series of attacks on Syrian cities and killed civilians: in Damascus - 15 people, Idlib – 14, Hummus – 2, Dere - 2, Aleppo - 1.

In total, 34 people were killed, including four children and two women, over the first day of the ceasefire.

Fighting in the southern Syrian city of Aleppo has resumed on Saturday after the US and Russia agreed upon the ceasefire in Syria that began the first day of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
