Red Square cordoned off in Moscow

An ambulance was seen outside the Kremlin. Presumably, one of the major Russian officials had health problems.

Evening Jan 26, police officers cordoned off Red Square and bustled off all people, including employees of the skating-rink, fairs and ordinary tourists.

The police officer said the cause for such restrictive measures was "holding a special operation", but declined to explain its nature and real reasons, reported the "Vedomosti".

Another police officer said it was due to "technical reasons."

All passages to Square were cordoned off with metal frames and police were on duty telling people to look for ways to circumvent the place.

Many social network users suggest the Russian President Vladimir Putin had a "heart attack."
