The unknown had attacked a military unit in Armyansk, which caused strong upsurge of the Security Forces activity in the occupied Crimea according to Andrei Klimenko, the Head of the "Maidan of Foreign Affairs" project.
“The disquiet among the occupants in Crimea resulted from the attack on a military unit in Armyansk. Allegedly, one soldier had been killed and three injured,” Klimenko wrote on Facebook.
According to the expert, it was the conflict in a military unit that triggered the activation of the Security Forces on the peninsula and the following implementation of the interception plan.
“Therefore, the "Interception" plan is implemented in Crimea. All the vehicles, including buses are checked throughout the territory (e.g., Angarsk pass and Verhnesadovoe)”, Klimenko said.
August 7, around 7 a.m. the Russian authorities blocked the traffic on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea. The reasons were not reported.
Moreover, the Russian aviation was spotted close to the entry-exit checkpoint "Chongar”. Gun bursts were also heard near the location.
The Crimea Security Forces are implementing the "Interception" plan following the night skirmish in Krasnoperekopsk, as a result of which one person was killed and three injured.
