Power supply in Crimean towns and villages in has been restored, says a statement issued by the Emergency Situations Ministry of Crimea.
“Following repair works, power supply has been fully restored in the towns and villages of Crimea,” reads the statement.
It was reported earlier that bad weather caused power outages in 22 towns and villages in Crimea.
The hardest hit by the power outages were towns and villages in the Simferopol, Bakhchisaray, Pervomaisk, Krasnogvardeisk, Jankoy and Chernomorsk districts. Power failures were also experienced in the town of Saky.
A total of 19,442 persons were affected by the power outages.
