Two men were injured in a fistfight that broke out outside of one of Kiev restaurants, reports the press service of the National Police.

“Two friends who had a fall-out after exiting a Kiev restaurant got into a fistfight which resulted in one of them getting a gun out and shooting two people in the neck and body respectively,” reports the Interior Ministry.

An ambulance was called to the site of the incident to render aid to the injured. One of the men attempted to flee the scene but got held up by police officers. A personal search revealed that the man had a non-lethal gun and two clips about him.

A 38-year-old man is also reported to have wrestled a policeman asking witnesses to the ground and started kicking him. The assailant was neutralized and taken to a police department where a personal search revealed a gun and thirty bullets.

Two criminal probes were launched into the incident – intentional inflicting of light bodily harm and assaulting a police officer.
